remembering OB

last week our dog died.  we spent 6 great years with our funny bear and will miss him so much.  his passing was unexpected; after eating an unknown animal carcass and hiding out in freezing temperatures, he got really sick and didn't make it to the vet.  pets are always getting into things they shouldn't but this time was just too much for him.  please watch out for your pets when they can't watch out for themselves.  it's a good thing all dogs go to heaven...

christmas card outtakes

2 years ago, we dressed up the dogs as santa and a reindeer for our holiday card.  last year, it was baby's first christmas and she graced the card alone.  this year we decided to take a family picture.  the actual card is great (you'll have to wait to see it) but in the meantime, please enjoy these outtakes!  and special thanks to our friends the garcias for taking the pictures and entertaining/distracting the babe.

is it just me or has this year flown by faster than a toddler going down a slide?  it's been a very busy year for us (obviously with our baby growing into a toddler) full of blessings and i look forward to closing it out with seeing lots of family and friends for the holidays.  i hope everyone ends 2011 on a positive note and with the hope of an even better 2012!
