DIY wall clock makeover

here's a quick and easy project for personalizing a clock.  i did this during her nap...

first, get a plain clock.  this is one that was hanging in the office and was about to get tossed so it was free.

next, take it apart.  no special tools needed!

then, pick out your new background.  i chose from these scrapbook  papers.

trace the face, numbers and hash marks.  don't forget to trace the inner hole for the hands.

reassemble and hang.  i didn't replace the plastic cover because it was all scratched up.  also, don't mind my mismatched candles.  one of the great things about this project (besides it being free and fast) is that the background is easily interchangeable if/when you update your decor!
